Enter the code shown on your washer display
Is it safe to keep using it?
Depends on code severity. Low/Medium codes often allow continued use, High severity requires immediate stop.
Can error codes be reset?
Some codes clear after power cycle. Persistent codes indicate underlying issues needing repair.
When should I stop using it?
Stop immediately for water leak codes, burning smell, or any High severity error.

Common Symptom
DE
Lid/door open detected
Low
The washer stops agitating or spinning and shows dE on the display. The code flashes for approximately 30 seconds, after which the cycle is cancelled if the lid is not closed.
View
E1
Water inlet error / no fill
Medium
The washer powers on normally but halts within the first minute of a cycle, showing E1. No water enters the drum and the agitator or impeller never begins moving.
View
E4B
Motor temperature fault
High
The washer is running normally, typically during a high-speed spin, when the cycle abruptly stops and E4B appears. The motor has overheated and the thermal protection circuit cut power to the drive.
View
E5
Water level sensor error
Medium
The code appears while the tub is filling or during agitation, indicating the pressure sensor sent a reading outside the expected range for the selected cycle and load size.
View
E22
Water fill timeout
Medium
The drum begins filling but the cycle halts before the tub reaches the set water level. E22 flashes on the display and a fault tone sounds.
View
E23
Flood protection drain active
High
The error appears without a cycle running, because the board continuously monitors the water level even when the machine is at rest and detected unintended water accumulation.
View
E30
Drain pump not responding
High
The washer stops mid-cycle with a tub full of water and flashes E30. The drum will not spin because water has not been removed, and the door remains locked for safety.
View
E42
Motor inverter overload
Medium
The drum slows or stops during the spin phase and E42 appears on the display. The cycle cannot complete because the inverter detected excessive motor current draw.
View
E60
Door lock failure
High
Pressing Start causes E60 to appear immediately because the control board safety circuit requires door lock confirmation before allowing water to enter the drum.
View
UE
Unbalanced load detected
Low
The drum accelerates into spin and begins banging loudly against the cabinet walls as the unbalanced load causes the drum to wobble. The control stops spin to protect the machine and displays UE.
