Pressing the fan speed buttons (Low, Medium, High) produces no detectable airflow from the filter area. The exhaust function is completely absent.

Unusual fan vibration or sound

A metallic rattling, chattering, or vibrating sound occurs whenever the fan is running — noticeably louder than the unit's normal airflow sound and inconsistent in pitch.

Hood light not working

The cooktop directly below the hood is unlit when the light is activated — the most immediate practical effect of a failed hood light during cooking.

Hood completely unresponsive

Pressing the fan speed buttons, light button, or any other control produces absolutely no response — no indicator lights, no motor movement, no sounds. The hood is completely unresponsive.
