Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
F1 Control board failure High Pressing Bake, Broil, Convection Bake, or any cook mode produces no heat response. The control board cannot relay valid commands to the heating elements or gas valve. View F2 Oven overtemperature fault High Food residue or grease inside the oven burns at above-normal temperatures, producing smoke and an acrid smell. This is often the first observable sign before F2 appears on the display. View F3 Open oven sensor circuit High The oven may briefly energize the element then cut heat as soon as the control board polls the sensor and receives no valid reading. The preheat phase never completes. View F5 Door latch mechanism fault Medium Pressing Self-Clean initiates the pre-heat phase but the door latch motor fails to lock the door within the allowed time, causing F5 to appear and the cycle to abort before cleaning temperatures are reached. View F7 Shorted touchpad key Medium A cook mode, timer, or temperature setting engages on its own — the shorted key circuit continuously sends the same key-press signal to the control board, triggering unintended oven operation. View F9 Door lock circuit failure Medium Selecting Self-Clean initiates but the door latch motor does not lock the door, causing F9 to appear and the cycle to abort before the oven reaches cleaning temperatures. View FF Total control board failure High The oven behaves as if it has no power — the display is blank, no keys respond, and no functions operate — yet the circuit breaker is confirmed ON and other kitchen appliances work.
